Surveillance includes the ongoing close observation and collection of data or evidence, for a specific purpose or established within a narrow sector.  Surveillance is used to support critical infrastructure protection, entry  and access control and to quickly identify any potential threats to property, assets or personnel.
Examples include:

  • Establishment and proper implementation of access control processes and procedures
  • 24/7 monitoring of surveillance data by security professionals trained in threat identification and proper response
  • Deployment of trained security teams to secure assets and protect family or personnel
